this is a photo of my site and I have been trying to find a way laser cut this without loosing too much detail and using minimal amount of material. I have tried stack up method and interlocking slices; in stack up it asks me for 160 sheets( size of laser cutter in the room) and with interlocking the details aren't so good.
because it is fairly big I haven't found a good method of slicing then laser cutting this. I have tried the slicer tool in sketchup and because of so many slices it wont calculate it fully and freezes . I was wondering if any one knows a good method for laser cutting a bit bigger elements.
